6th beat: Juri Ueno

It's been a long long time since the last ℬeat topic, so finally today, I present to you, miss Juri Ueno!  The first movie I saw of her was Swing Girls. Very hillarious! Great fun and simply adored her carefree character!
Miss Ueno has scooped a lot of awards, and by a lot I mean a lot lot. I haven't watched Nodame Cantabile yet, but I've got thumbs up from a couple of friends. Looking at the poster, I think her and Tamaki Hiroshi make such a cute couple. But then again her and Eita make a real cool couple at the same time. The dude from 1 litre of tears was soo scary in Last Friends D:
I thought she looked really cool as a tomboy in that drama, Last Friends. Not many girls can pull off really short hair, or maybe I'm thinking that way because I haven't come accross many girls with that short hair.
kewl :3
She looks so mature now compared to the character she played in Swing Girls as a 16-year-old. That movie cracked me and my brother up so much when we first watched it xD The name of the movie may sound a bit new and weird but the film's actually about a group of high school girls forming a jazz band.
And now she's like all grown up and so beautiful :")
Like a modern hime-sama.
Love her dress! Her shoes! Her hair! Aahhhh love her whole look!!! so pretty x3

More Absolute Boyfriend! XD

UPDATE!
Jiro Wang will be replacing Wu Chun for the role of Night
Oh mah Gawd! *-* Image source: soompi
Check out the news in this link here!

I only just found out that they are making another live action of Absolute Boyfriend! aka Zettai Kareshi. And this time, it's Koo Hye Sun playing as Izawa Riiko and Wu Chun as Tenjo Night!
It's amazing enough that asian entertainment's mixing talents from different countries, and I surely have to admit that this duo is hot! There were rumours going on that the production of the drama was halted but actress Hye Sun recently posted two pics from their shoot.
They say the drama's gonna be aired at around May/June (why? T_T why during exams?) But still, can't wait for it ^^ I'm a massive fan of the manga, and my first reaction to Wu Chun  portraying Night was like O.O ooooooooh dayam good one casting team! But I think it will be well more interesting to see Koo Hye Sun as Riiko.
I don't know who'll be playing Soushi and Namikiri though. Them two are major characters as well.
Manga plot for the curious ones
Riiko is a high school girl who longs to have a boyfriend but always fails at it. So she comes accross this salesman guy named Namikiri who says she can create and buy her perfect lover from the company he works for, called Kronos Heaven. She takes it as a joke and orders one online and then the next day tan taran~ a package with a super hot guy inside arrives :D Now ain't that an amazing start. hahaah.
By the way, Night's a (Spoiler Alert!)
robot...
You just gotta love Yuu Watase sensei! She's one of my favourite mangakas ^^ My other fav reads of her are the Fushigi Yūgi series (ahhh...i remember watching that anime back in Nepal on axn. Had some pretty ero scenes tho lol, still watched it ^^") and Ayashi no Ceres. I just love how she draws her bishies heheeheh, and how her stories always come in a reverse harem ;)
 (* -,*) Oh Night-o~
The plot of  the Japanese live action was really different except for the fact that Night's a robo. But it was still good fun to watch. Riiko was changed into an OL and Soushi was her boss? O_O And I may have cried at the end, but even more so at the end of the manga T__T
Hayami Mokomichi as Night, Aibu Saki as Riiko and Hiro Mizushima as Soushi
Well, I've done my part in telling you how much I like the manga and how much I recommend it to you. As for now, I'm gonna just wait for the airing of the new drama :D So excited (>.<)!!!

to combine Hope with Action...

Some very unfortunate events have taken place in the past week, including the tsunami in Japan and the crisis at Libya. Moreover, many might've taken place which we have failed to notice. Whether a disaster is caused by natural means or by man fighting one another, we, the average people, combined together can help the victims of such grave devastations. It's during moments like this, that we realise how really important life is yet how easily it can be taken away in a matter of seconds. We can only pray for the lost souls, and give our support to their loved ones. For we cannot change the past, but simply learn from them. Our actions today result in our future. So let's all do our parts to make a better future for everyone.

A tiny miracle: 4-month-old baby girl found after 3 days since the tsunami struck.

This post of mine is more of a tribute to my parents.

There's no internet back at home for a while, so I have to post this tonight; a day  earlier.

My mother has been a real inspiration to me, in terms of both morality and fashion; two of the biggest things, in my opinion, that a woman has to understand and live through with great consideration. I'm always ever so proud of her and sometimes find it really amazing how hard she works to achieve her dreams and goals. Like almost every other Nepali child, I've received several spankings from my mother as a kid ;P followed by some messages of wisdom. And now that I've grown older, I've come to understand that all those lectures were worth listening to and they have made me what I am today and I'm very content with the way I am right now. She was a really over-protective mum (still is) but then again, whose isn't eh? Although she's solid iron outside, she's a real softy at heart. It's funny cause some people are really afraid of her and it's quite amusing to watch their expressions xD I'm so mean lol. I've never come across anyone as kind and giving as my mum. I seriously couldn't have asked for a better role model. I love her so much ^^

I rummaged through some old pics of her as a teen and before marriage.
I like the whole Brady bunch thing going on hahaah, they look cool though :)
You know how your parents tell you that when they were kids, they did this and that... yeah those may be true but sometimes, they might have exaggerated a bit -_- We never questioned about their fun days, well I didn't anyway, until now...but then again, one would have took quite an effort just for a picture during those days. I asked my mum  about it but she blanked me -_-
Yeah, my mother doesn't seem to be carrying her pitches to fetch some water here now does she -_- mummy ¬_¬
And I can't believe that out of all her pictures, this one here below of her with the glasses made my dad fall for her -_- I suppose he was into geeks, or maybe glasses were cool back then, I don't know.
Now we're time travelling into the late 80's. After my parents got married.

This one below's my favourite pic of her
So, now, about my dad. Yeah, I still call him daddy ¬.¬ ahem. He's the complete opposite of my mum. She's the loud one and my father's the quiet one hahaah. He seriously never ever lay a finger against me and my brother, and he treats me like an older son. While my mum was managing our manners, my dad was always thinking of these new ideas for fun. BUT, only if we did good in studies hahaah. I remember when we were kids, before our exams, he was sooo into teaching us that he made his own version of question papers for both me and my brother... so basically it felt like giving two big exams in a semester. He's a cool dad. Although he still gets upset when my grades fall down (see, this is where my mum is understanding), he still gives me high 5s for trying (sometimes high 2s cus he was a 70's teen). And I found him even cooler when I saw these pics of him hahaah xD
pink tee, so bold xD
Yeah, he doesn't have much pictures of when he was young cause he said he was busy collecting Sridevi's
Back in Nepal
Man, history really does repeat itself. Look at those John Lennon glasses. I want 'em right now so bad, to make my round face even rounder :D
Mother, father; me and Ujju love you two very much.
Happy 25th anniversary ya two lovebirds teehee xD
