Soft gradient nails

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

3 shades of nail polish + 1 clear (optional)
Nail polish remover and Q tips

1. I prefer applying a transparent nail varnish before painting my nails with colours.
This helps prevent the nails from turning yellowish.

2. Put on the lightest shade.

3. Followed by a darker one filling only 2/3 of the nails from the tips.

4. Followed by the darkest shade of nail varnish, a 1/3 from the tip.

5. Apply transparent coating one more time once dry.
6. Clean off varnish from skin (if any) using a Q tip dipped in nail polish remover.

The pictures above were taken during night time but this is how your nails will appear during daylight.

Enjoy!

2 jackets

Jumper Topclass
Shoes Boohoo
Tights Primark
Jacket Asos

Same outfit, except with a denim jacket from Dorothy Perkins

Lately, I've seen a lot of nail art with fading effects on websites but sadly they are all written in languages that I can't understand. After many attempts, I think I've finally achieved the basic look.

@ home and around town

Got a new earring!
Funky eh? Heheheeh thanks to Topman
Also, it's been a month since I last saw my brother and as soon as I saw his outfit I thought of Julian Casablancas hahaah.
He recently bought L.A. NOIRE, and I have to admit it's one of the great games out there. I was browsing around the net to kill some time while me brother was playing the game and I got soo hooked into watching it instead; like superglue! The plot is awesome and you just feel like you're watching a crime drama.
We're supposed to find out (as a detective) things like whether a witness is lying or not, and the graphics for the facial expressions are just amazing~
Met Mimi di. her cat eye glasses!
and skull line ring!
I read a JUICY post by Na-Cha about the new Shatter polish by OPI and absolutely loved it! I was looking for it at Boots and found an alternative to it by Barry M called CRACKLE
Just apply it on top of any base coat and let it do its magic*~ Me and Mimi sis went to buy another one but it was all sold out!

And I keep forgetting to post about this hime-gyaruish dress I bought at Stratford from Fusion.

❖ Latest buys ❖ (+nails)

Camden Town has a lot lot lot to offer. Although a bit expensive, it's one of the few places in LDN where you can buy goods from east Asia, like the ones they sell in this hime-style shop!
I bought a t-shirt from 3 lovely South Korean ladies who have a stall called Wonder Park, where they paint it for you! You can buy a ready-made one or create your own by following these simple steps:
Pick a t-shirt style (ladies'/men's)
Choose the size (S, M, L etc)
Choose a design (from display)
Optional: Add some writings.

It costs £12 per t-shirt and £20 for 2. The plain tee they use is usually white in colour, but you can ask them if they have different colours in stock. I went for a Union Jack design and like it a lot :D Being a Korean drama fanatic, I also asked them to write my name in Korean ^^" And they were equally happy to do so :DD
It took around 15-20 min to paint + iron it. You can go around town during that time and return later but I stayed there for a bit and had a nice chat about Gong Yoo and Lee Dong Wook instead heheheeh :D
Also, they leave you a cute note about ironing the shirt before washing it for the 1st time (note: only 1st time!)

Also bought a silver ring from the street market even though I felt I was being ripped off. I had been wanting one so badly and this one looked real nice like the ones from Thamel so I'm happy I bought it :)
I know! I have such hairy fingers (T_T) But I don't wanna wax them, in fear that they might grow even longer D:
Tasted cinnamom flavoured doughnuts for the first time.Really nice*~
And then, bought a cute mirror from Chinatown. Darn, I can never avoid that place!

 And a phone charm.

I had no idea how to attach it to my phone, so was googling it. But thankfully, my roomie knew how to and it was sooo easy that I felt so stupid -.-
Right there, just by forming a loop

Had a bit of spare time (yes, even though the exams are coming soon...) so spent it on my nails! The almost transparent pink coat is from Tesco and the gold one is from elf.

Oh yeah, and I read that Wu Chun has dropped out from playing Night in Absolute Darling!!! (aka absolute boyfriend) Why???!!!!! I was soo looking forward to seeing him together with Koo Hye Sun T______T My summer plan all gone... with the wind... need to watch that too.

✦✧Merry Christmas✧✦

I'm a little too late, but Merry Christmas guys! Been very busy in the festive season. Had families coming over and was a whole lot of fun, and of course the annual sale was a blast! I'll upload more info and pics about it on my next post, but for now please enjoy these lovely pics of my brother and cousins. They love to pose so I thought I might as well take pictures of them to put on the blog.
This is how Salil normally looks (left) and how he looks like with the help of a wig (right).  O_O Amazing isn't it? The wonders of wigs.

It was good to see some of my art work on Sophie's wall (and the glee dude too, I guess).
Oh and also, I recently discovered my mum's Rimmel nail polish collection. She's been collecting a few for a while now, and I gotta say I love 'em colours, especially the silver one!
From left to right: Coral Romance, Your Majesty, Tangerine Queen and Brights Green Grass
Although my favourite polish ever has to be this shade by Tesco.
I know it looks like one of those normal transparent varnishes but it's not!
The amazing thing about this polish is that it gives a real sweet pale pinkish shine under natural light. I have no idea what its name or code is. All I know about it is that I bought it for 15p last year. One of my friends noticed this polish on my nails and asked me where I do my manicure O.O How awesome is that?

Some winter warmers I bought last year. They are really warm indeed and I don't think I'll stop wearing them until they start getting some holes xD
1. Knitted woolen dress from Uniqlo
2. Hand Warmers from Primark
3. (very long) Knitted Scarf by H&M (I tied the ends together to turn it into a snood)
4. Snowjoggers by Rubber Duck (so warm)
