circle lens!

Hey guys! I got my very first pair of coloured circle lens :D Bought the GEO Tri Colour Blue ones from Shoppingholics.com
no flash
 I the colour!
All pics were taken using htc desire. I'm impressed that the quality of these lenses can be captured using just a camera from a phone. I assume it would look better using a dslr.
The delivery took around 2 weeks. They state in their website that we should wait for 21 days at least so I knew it was arriving late anyway. It came through Royal Mail which needs your signature and it cost me £3.50 posting fee.
And it came with 3 free gifts! I bought a pair for Sophie as well, hence the large number of presents hahaah. The 1st gift was an eye mask which I haven't used yet, the instructions seem easy enough to follow.
The 2nd one was a hair patch cloth thing to move your hair out of your face. My brother's borrowed it for a while; very useful it is.
3rd gift consisted of contact lens cases. Both are so adorable, and not to forget the cute box the lens bottles were in!
Overall, I'm really happy with the service of Shoppingholics :D The lens are beautiful but the problem I found about it was regarding comfort. My eyes started to itch a lot after about 2 hours of wearing it. So, I think the problem here arises from the manufacturers. My normal prescribed lens are clear circle ones due to my astigmatism really high eye power, which needs a larger diameter (we're talking -6.00 here). Maybe the diameter of this particular pair of lens didn't match, that I need to check. And then again, my friend, Anupa, is a frequent circle lens user and she had no problem whatsoever with the same type of contacts.
And cutest buy of the week! This really cute card holder from paperchase for a pound! Great for my oyster card!

with flash: Samikchha as the hand model xD
And I also bought this feathery pair which was on sale for only £2.
And DB bought a bike. I think it's a Yamaha.
He didn't like this pic so I've made a few changes to it :) The E stands for Expert hahaah xD

And here's a random pic of me wearing my scarf as a turban headband because I'm too stingy to buy an actual one; heyyhey :DD My one eyeball looks creepy but I like the pic, so there you go!

❖Happy New Year People!❖

I'm days late but still would like to wish you all a very happy new year!
Photobucket

Wow, 2011 huh, time sure does fly real fast, well for me anyway. It's been such a fun year that it still hasn't hit me hard that it's already a whole new year. More fun to experience and more misery too I suppose. I know I'll be praying real hard at the end of this year. God, I hope those religious scriptures are false. See the irony there? Hahaaahahah but still, I'm really serious. And really really scared. So I'm really going to enjoy this year as much as I can! Starting off with some great new buys :D
Men's miniature fragrance set for brother dear from Boots.
I think this Armani one is ever so cute!
My flatmate told me about this Nivea tinted cream after she found out I'm allergic to all the other foundation creams I've tried so far in my life. And it works! I like :D
A ray ban 2140 from sunglassesshop.com
And finally, a brown faux foxtail. I know, I know, it's cruel and I'm evil to have bought it even though it's fake fur. But I just had to get it so bad! Although, I have to be honest with you, when I received the product, I found out the fur is actually attached to leather (O_O) And I felt soso sick. Bad, I mean, not literally throwing up. I kept having these nightmares, seriously, I swear, about these coloured fox tails flying towards me, maybe to strangle me or something. But then again, I thought, I've already committed enough sin by eating animals in the first place. Damn.... I sound so horrible (O_O)!!!! Arghhhh Is this why the world is gonna end in 2012?? T____T  But it looks so good on my bag!
Okay, I'm having a war with myself now. I mean I'm supposed to be looking happy like her!!
This is bad. I'm gonna leave now... No this isn't bad, we use leather and stuff for shoes damnit!! I don't know... well, I'm kinda puzzled now so I'm gonna go find something to do that will take my mind off of this issue. Whatta way to start the new year (-_-) But, I guess this way, I'll start concerning more about Mother Nature now. I've bought this stuff, and I guess I'm going to use it well, even as a fashion accessory (T_T) What's done is done (-_-) I'll fulfill it's task and even plead myself guilty if the PETA accuses me of animal cruelty. And I'll try my best to make sure that it's the last one I'll buy that represents such a vile idea (=_=) This can be one of my new year's resolutions...

I can be a real sadist sometimes T_T

Moving & more

So I havn't been able to post as much as I used to in the past few weeks. This is cus I recently moved into a new flat! Well... not recently, a couple of weeks ago, and we don't have any internet at the mo. And I'm too cheap to get the BTOpenzone thing that my lil brother had to come all the way here to buy it for me. I miss the university halls T_T Unlimited internet and Wifi everywhere... They treat you like royalty for a year and then next?... nothing, they just slam their doors at your face. I joke, joke.  Yeah...I guess it's better this way, since it is a great opportunity for us to learn to be more independent and adult-like I presume. But it really gets on your nerves having to pay so much for so many different things; electrity, water bills, phone bills, damn... well we don't have to pay water though as it's included, but still, makes you appreciate your parents so much more for all they did in all those years when we were kids. Thank you soso much T_T Anyway! This is a pic of the building, and me and my flatmate, Samikchha, live somewhere around there in that row where the arrow's pointed.

Yeah...you can laugh if you want to. I mean, we are carrying the weight of the entire building on our heads O_O
The neighbourhood
And oh my, Porscha baby over the fence!
I had nothing to do with no internet and all, so DB let me borrow his camera and I went photo capturing. Here are some of the pics I took at Bank.

And at Tower Place

And that's about it...Oh yeah, bought my first ever perfume set! I'm always using deo sprays, and the only perfumes I've ever bought were for my parents and my brother, (they are so clever -_- ) so it was a pretty big day for me heheeh, and a very tough desicion to make too O_O
And yes I went for Nina Ricci! It was between that or Lacoste's Touch of Pink. They both smelled so nice, but Touch of Pink smelled better! (>_<) And I know! I went for NR because of that cute little small replica!!! Just could'nt resist it!! The box set came with a 50ml eau de toilette, 50ml body lotion and 4ml minature!!! Yatta!!!

Va-Va-Voom Volume!

So I've switched my shampoo cause my hair's thinning too much, and not long ago, my father commented on it saying he can see my scalp -_- So I got this Aussie Aussome Volume. There were loads to choose from but the phrase "for fine and limp hair" caught my attention, like it was calling me or something. I've been using Tigi for a while and it was real good, gave me the silk like effect I wanted and kept my hair untangled for quite a long time, but it didn't help with volumising. Anyway, I saw the ad for Aussie on LDN tubes, and since its been receiving great reviews, I said to myself, why the heck not? And it's more cost friendly with a £3.95 price tag in Boots against the £17.99 one for Bedhead Tigi Catwalk: Oatmeal & Honey. Plus the Aussie one's 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner. So for a Scrooge (cheapo whatever -_- ) like me, it's an awesome deal, cause it does work! I'm not saying it magically transforms your hair into a 60's beehive or something, but it does make your hair feel more luscious and thicker but really light at the same time.
Speaking of shampoos, I'm a hairspray rookie. I used my mum's Tesco or TRESemmé (as my hair's also way frizzy) but my lil bro made a huge fuss about buying this got2b, which we ended up buying. Turns out, it does exactly as it says on the can/bottle. It only takes a little whiz of the spray to impress. So yeah, now I've gone past believing that hairsprays are only used to make your hair smell nice. And for those crazy asian hairstyles, got2b is a must buy. And of course, GATSBY too. Just cause its Japanese, and it smells like apple juice :)
