Okayy, I haven't been posting a lot lately. That's because summer's here! And it's drama watching time :DD So yeah, I've been preoccupying myself with this Korean drama called Sungkyunkwan Scandal, which is about a year old, but has a real good plot. It's  kinda like the Chinese folk tale of "Butterfly Lovers" yet still different nonetheless. Good watch!

And I've been watching the Japanese version of You're Beautiful, renamed Ikemen Desu Ne. Yep, them bishies are ikemen all right! To be honest, I didn't like the 1st episode that much, and was making all these comparisons with the Korean one. But after seeing the 2nd one, I've been enjoying it a lot. The president guy is soo funny xDD Can't wait for the next ep!

And just a day ago, I was watching the live action of Ouran High School Host Club!! I've been waiting for this for a helluva long time! It's a fun series but I think it would have been better if Tamaki and Honey-senpai's hair colour was blonde ^^" I don't know, I'll just watch the rest of the show and sum up my opinion later :)

It hasn't been long since I posted an article on shoes, but I've just got myself a new pair! Couldn't simply resist it! These babies were shining oh so beautifully on a shelf! And oh! Praise the heavens~ only 14.99 straight from £49.99!

They are crumpled up and all, but mama don't care!

And I seriously need to get myself a dslr. Or maybe do some wrist exercises... I tried taking pictures without using flash, but they all came out so blurry!

The flash ones come out nice though.

Moreover, I'm really pleased at finding this summer tote bag, from Poundland!

 

10th beat: Beautiful minds

I was reading through the lovely Miss Ferreira's blog and stumbled upon a post about Jamie Beck ❤ Since then I've been a fan of her! I especially love her cinemagraphs, which she created with Kevin Burg! Here are a few samples of their work. The first cinemagraph is of Ms. Beck herself!

Shoe-paholic!

 I opened my mum's shoe closet the other day and it was all jumbled up and everything. So, spent quite a while arranging them.

And these are just her summer shoes! :O I packed away~ the winter ones.

My mum let me have the last pair now :D So happy even though it's a size small :D 

They say diamonds are a girl's best friends. For me though, shoes are! ♥ because I don't own a diamond... even if I did, I'd probably be worried about losing it more than enjoying it.

♔ midsummer sale ♔

Me and my mum/My mother and I... :S were in town to check out some sale items and we came across some pretty good stuff. She forced me to buy this one though, saying things like "If I were you, I would wear this!" and so on. I wasn't that awed by it when I first saw it, but it's starting to grow on me already (only took about an hour). The more I look at it, the more cute it seems!

This one's from Topshop, which was also on sale . I think I got it for around £6.something. I've thrown away the receipt so not sure, but I did use my student ID to get that extra discount.

And then my mum egged me on to buy her a watch. So, got her a Citizen one.

It was pretty expensive, but hey, as long as mum's happy, then it's all worth it. She's really pleased with it :)

Speaking of watches, I found one while moving back to Reading for the holidays. A group of my dear friends gave it to me as a farewell gift back in Nepal. Pardon my hairy-ness; its hereditary ;D

going formal

We were invited to one of our many cousins' wedding reception, so this was a once in a blue moon kind of opportunity to wear something formal so I wore this £4.99 dress!

What surprised me was how these three kiddos worked their individual styles. They looked so mature, and it seems like only yesterday that they were crawling around in their diapers... it kinda hit me about how old I'm getting myself T_T
