Loads of food...

I turned 21!

Aaah it's a big number, but still,

calls me (it means chubby) hehehaha. Thank you for the gorgeous cake! :D

Later at night, my family and I went to China Palace for dinner @ Reading. 

The food there was delish!

During the weekend, we went for a lil ride to Knightsbridge.

Then a bit of walking at Hyde Park. They placed this ferris wheel there to promote the royal wedding and we all hopped in. Only £6 if you have a student/NUS card for about 4 turns. Awesome! but scary ^^

And then we headed off to many asians' favourite place; Chinatown. 

My mother made/bought herself a phone charm

and then we all helped ourselves to some food. Yeah Beijing dumplings!

7th beat: mon préféré des Vogues

I've rarely seen many rock/indie collaborations in fashion magazines. Yeah, they put on a lot of vintage stuff; the pictures all in agfa effects and the style's being used such a lot these days. But then I saw a picture of the new editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris...

 Madame Emmanuelle Alt. Rock chic. And then I got googling.

She's a goddess. I'm a big fan now :) She's absolutely cool! 

I'm not into the usual white sheepskin aviator jackets but I definitely like hers and the way she's wearing it.

I love the dark shades she uses for her outfits. 

They reflect such a cool persona.

5.7 Magnitude Earthquake hits Nepal-India Border!

An earthquake hit the north-western Indo-Nepal border today at around 5 pm Nepali time D: I searched for the news on BBC and nepalnews.com but nothing's been put up there. There was only 1 article I could find and you can check it here. Luckily, no casualties have been reported yet and hopefully, it will remain that way. Fingers crossed that nothing worse will happen >_<

Somebody's been spending a lot and it's not me. I wanted to feature my brother because honestly, I think he dresses up quite good for a guy his age; well that's because I give him the tips xD Na, I'm just kidding. I used to before, but now he's getting better at it and the advice giving is turning around, what do you call it again, reciprocating yeah. Anyway, here are his few new buys:

Anywho, I had this vans bag that looked pretty cool but normal; black and grey. Bought it for £28, dropped from £40. It had some logo prints on it but they weren't that visible, so I painted on them with some acrylics. 

Now they say you have to use sandpaper to scratch the leather bit so that the paint will last longer, but I was too lazy to do that, plus I want a rugged look for my bag in the future so I suppose just paint will do for now.

I did some shopping in the past week as well, but I'll tell you about it in the next post. But here's a pic of me with the knitted headband I bought at Primark for only 50p! I was almost gonna buy a similar one at Boohoo for £4 :O Saved!

New glasses from Tesco Opticians for £15 ;D Oh yeah, see the sides of the frame, that's because my power is -6 on the right eye and -5.5 on the left :B It's not because of too much TV ^^"

Also, it's been soo long that I haven't sketched, so I took the weekend at home as an opportunity to.
