✦✧Merry Christmas✧✦

I'm a little too late, but Merry Christmas guys! Been very busy in the festive season. Had families coming over and was a whole lot of fun, and of course the annual sale was a blast! I'll upload more info and pics about it on my next post, but for now please enjoy these lovely pics of my brother and cousins. They love to pose so I thought I might as well take pictures of them to put on the blog.
This is how Salil normally looks (left) and how he looks like with the help of a wig (right).  O_O Amazing isn't it? The wonders of wigs.

It was good to see some of my art work on Sophie's wall (and the glee dude too, I guess).
Oh and also, I recently discovered my mum's Rimmel nail polish collection. She's been collecting a few for a while now, and I gotta say I love 'em colours, especially the silver one!
From left to right: Coral Romance, Your Majesty, Tangerine Queen and Brights Green Grass
Although my favourite polish ever has to be this shade by Tesco.
I know it looks like one of those normal transparent varnishes but it's not!
The amazing thing about this polish is that it gives a real sweet pale pinkish shine under natural light. I have no idea what its name or code is. All I know about it is that I bought it for 15p last year. One of my friends noticed this polish on my nails and asked me where I do my manicure O.O How awesome is that?

Some winter warmers I bought last year. They are really warm indeed and I don't think I'll stop wearing them until they start getting some holes xD
1. Knitted woolen dress from Uniqlo
2. Hand Warmers from Primark
3. (very long) Knitted Scarf by H&M (I tied the ends together to turn it into a snood)
4. Snowjoggers by Rubber Duck (so warm)

5th beat: The Casiraghis

The Casiraghi siblings are one of the hottest royals in the world. I think I was looking at one of those msn articles, you know the ones that come after you log out of hotmail ... Anyway, I saw this Forbes article, ranking the planet's most good looking blue bloods, and then I saw a picture of Charlotte Casiraghi, then Andrea and Pierre ... and dayamm. I mean there are more good looking princes and prinesses like Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden (By the way, William and Kate Middleton = fit couple!! Beautiful engagement ring!), but the Casiraghi brothers and their sister, in my opinion, are a very fine example of 21st century royalty. They're more outgoing, totally modern, very stylish, and have quite busy social lives, meaning that they get regularly invited to a lot of fashion shows and parties for Chanel, Dolce & Gabanna and God knows how many more. Not the average prince and princesses you hear about who seem to have limited freedom. These guys seem real carefree compared to other young royals. Not only are they rich, young and good looking but they are, first and foremost, of royalty, that too hailing from Monaco! Where they say buildings are gold plated and around 84% of the population is super wealthy O_O
First is the eldest, Andrea Casiraghi, (who looks a bit like Paolo Nutini and the scarecrow guy from Batman Begins) grandson of Rainier III, Prince of Monaco and the most elegant American actress, Grace Kelly. When I first saw his pic, I thought he looked like those princely characters you see in dramas, like a player who falls in love with a kind and pretty middle-class girl lol. I watch too much romcoms (but then again that's William and Kate's story). BUT, he does have a Brazilian socialite for a girlfriend. Moreover, he is currently second in line to the throne, that is, taking into account if his uncle, Prince Albert II of Monaco, doesn't have any children.
Second, we have Charlotte Casiraghi. When she was just six, she got a £ 7/8 million island as a gift from her grandparents... yep... And she was selected in Vanity Fair's Best Dressed List. She's currently dating Alex Dellal, a British multi millionaire.
She's so pretty. Just like a fairy-tale princess ought to be.
I love her shoes :)
And finally, we have Pierre Casiraghi, the youngest of the three; the player, the badass.

God knows how many girls he's dated, most of them being supermodels of course, but he's said to have the longest relationship at the mo with his current girlfriend.
I don't know if the pic above is of Pierre's or Andrea's, but it looks more like Pierre to me.  I'm liking the look, kinda Bohemian. Funny how their sister's brunette and both the brothers are blonde, taking after their grandmother. You know how they say daughters go after fathers and sons after moms. Anyway...

Now are some pics of the three together, well two, in the first case.
And their grandmom, Princess Grace Kelly. Oh so pretty. Your offsprings are beautiful, just like you!
But seriously, can you believe that if Grace Kelly hadn't married the Casiraghis' granddad, then he would probably have had to hand Monaco over to France...Interesting stuff, isn't it?

Let it snow ☃

It's snowing~ yes again, but this time it was very heavy compared to the last few days. I'm back home for the winter holidays, so waking up to a beautiful snowfall was a wonderful delight.
Looks like SoIukhumbu there doesn't it? Unlike at uni.
I was surprised to find this funny pair of cups in the kitchen cupboard. My mum bought it for herself and my father. I loled so hard hahaah xD Cute, very cute.
So the past weekend, we went to Brick Lane again, cus Sunday's a more fun day to visit there. There was a ukulele band performing called D'Ukes. They were pretty awesome cus they played The Bucket by Kings of Leon, one of my and DB's favourite songs. And they had distortion and everything which was cool to listen to. Then we went to Rokit, my fav vintage shop in BL
Then we saw this dude as a one-man-band. Reminded me of the young Lenny Kravitz. He was singing mostly crust punk tho.
We bought some sweets, yay! There's a whole line of sweet shops in Brick Lane, which is also referred to as Banglatown. But I don't recommend the pedas there, a bit milkier than the ones we have at Nepal.
Since then, I was busy preparing for my end of term test and practicals. And oh yeah, there's a pretty big number of Korean students here so my friend was pretty psyched to point out this coffee drink of Bing Bang(?) at the student village shop.

Anyway, happy holidays guys!

Oh yeah, that guy from Zombieland!

Well, it's snowing and the view outside my window is pretty Christmasy*~
Nothing much is going on except for lectures and tests and lab practicals. I wanted to take some pictures of mitochondria we used for an experiment but was too scared to ask  for permission from the Doc.
And we still don't have any internet so sometimes we do have to go to McDonalds' for something besides food...
DB cooked us a very fine meal of chicken chilli and some spicy fried rice. Incredibly yummy. Girls, be sure your man can cook, if he can't, then well, he's  just a lazy ass. To be honest, I kinda begged DB to cook and was very surprised with his hidden talent. And a man who can cook is sexayy.
I think it was around 2 weeks ago or something, that we went to Brick Lane. Got a baseball jacket for £18 from Rokit. It was very beautiful, but too big a size for DB. Unfortunately we had to return it, so we traded it for a flannel shirt. But I took some pics of the jacket, pure American beauty.
We headed off for Trocadiro and ended up in Leicester Sq.

Just watched The Social Network and it is a-mazing...5* Makes me wanna re-activate my facebook account, and also wish I were a Harvard student. When I get kids, I'm gonna make them study there. I don't care if they won't be geniuses enough to get in there but I will get them in there, earn a loadda money and save everything. Anyway... its a darn good movie, so everybody needs to watch it, in my opinion anyway.
Jesse Eisenberg from Zombieland
It's got the new Spiderman dude in it, and my flat mate's already taken a fancy to him and he's British, so all the more reason to watch it. And oh my God, once the movie ends, you just can't stop talking about the twins. They're actually played by the same guy; Armie Hammer, with Josh Pence providing the body for the double role, but they got Armie's face replacing his, and a nice face he has, very nice, like a prince charming from a fairytale. And it's got Brenda Song! You know , London, from Zach and Cody. She funny.
Also, I didn't post anything on Skyline last time. Well, before we watched Harry Potter the 7th , part 1, we watched Skyline at the O2. It was wierd and wonderful. I mean everybody hated it and by everybody I mean my brother , Sophie, my roomy Sam and her cousin. So that leaves only me liking it. The intro of the movie was pretty interesting. They showed this hot couple, with the guy's biceps and all. Most of us were confused cus we couldn't see their faces and it was hard to see whether or not he was good looking, but I later we could see that he is hahahhaa. And it was great to see Turk in it, from Scrubs, but he was serious the whole time, so that was a change.
And I thought the ending melodrama bit was actually kinda cute :)
